To Not or To Take Your Time?

When faced with a task or an objective one must consider time as a factor as well as effort. The pursuer has and makes a choice. Choices... Deadlines will always exist in a sense as well as challenges too. The question arises then; does one take their time? The writer has found it beneficial in taking as many breaks as I see fit as long as the task stays the course of the day. But that's writing. What about other forms of performance? Sales, gaming, combat sports, team sports, solo sports, caretaking, dancing, cooking, racing, even professional poker or chess? Do you take breaks? How long should they be? How many should you take? What about the idea of taking your time? It is the belief of the writer that taking your time is beneficial especially if learning something. Speed up if needed, slow down if necessary. Just make sure to take personal responsibility as well as accountability of not letting that choice leading you to make that decision merely a crutch. Learning how and climbing any mountain is possible. Even the tallest in the world...
