Sound Healing Types - Blog post 05/18/26
These will be the aspects of sound that will be researched to find the best that this brand can help different kinds of performers to help them reach their highest potential.
ASMR: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Is a relaxing, static-like tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It is often triggered by soft sounds or gentle visuals and is used to relieve stress and promote sleep.
Cymatics: Cymatics is the study of visible sound and vibration. Coined by Swiss physician Hans Jenny in the 1960s and derived from the Greek word kyma (meaning "wave"), it demonstrates how sound waves passing through physical mediums—like sand, water, or powder—cause those materials to spontaneously form precise, geometric patterns
Sound Therapy: Sound therapy is a complementary practice that uses specific tones, rhythms, and vibrations from instruments like singing bowls, gongs, or tuning forks to induce deep relaxation and promote healing. By shifting the body from a stressed state to a restful one, it helps reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and alleviate symptoms like chronic pain and tinnitus
Binaural Beats: Binaural beats are an auditory illusion created by the brain when you listen to two slightly different tones simultaneously, one in each ear. Because they require the brain to process the frequency difference, they are thought to alter brainwave activity, promoting states like relaxation, focus, and deep sleep
Sound meditation: Sound meditation is a mindfulness practice that uses auditory focus—such as ambient tones, singing bowls, or gongs—to anchor the mind. Instead of focusing on your breath, the sound "guides" the meditation. The immersive vibrations help ease the nervous system into a deep state of relaxation and calm.
Depending on the type of performer, the plan will be to help the performer try to perform and/or experience these types of sound experimentation, as data is tracked to develop a plan to optimize performance.
